Need a good gift idea for a teacher? A great way to give a very nice gift to your child's teacher is to get everyone in class to pitch in a few dollars, then buy a nice gift. Good teacher gift ideas include restaurant gift certificates, books (especially early editions of classics) and spa gift certificates or gift baskets. As a suggestion, it can be popular to bake cookies or some other treat for your child's teacher, and whereas that is a nice, thoughtful gift, most teachers will thank you profusely then throw the treats away.
